Clubhouse

Our clubhouse dates from 1931 to a then innovative design incorporating a grandstand on the roof. Since then there have been a number of alterations but the clubhouse still affords a panoramic view of the show courts, especially from the roof, which is opened for important tournaments and matches. If you're not playing, it's a great place to stop for a sociable drink on the way home from work on a Summer evening.

There is a professionally run bar with light meals and snacks available, changing and shower facilities, and a large screen television to keep members up to date with sporting events elsewhere. Through an archway, a juniors' room offers table tennis, a separate television for watching soaps, and the opportunity to get away from grown-ups.
