Team Tennis

The Leicestershire Lawn Tennis Club has a commitment to provide opportunities for all members who wish to play competitive tennis for the club.

SUMMER LEAGUE

Seven Men’s teams and six Ladies’ teams compete in the Leicestershire County Summer League, offering match-play opportunities for all levels of ability. Older juniors are actively encouraged to make the break-through into adult tennis via this competition.

WINTER LEAGUE

Two Men’s teams and two Ladies’ teams compete in the County Winter League.

MIXED TENNIS

Two Mixed Doubles teams and an all-conquering (for the last 9 years!) Sports Mercury Cup team provide mixed doubles playing opportunities.

VETERANS

The ever-growing strength of Veterans’ Tennis is well catered for at the Club, with a number of Men’s and Ladies’ teams playing at County and National level. For a number of years the Club has proudly represented Great Britain in the annual European Championships.

NATIONAL CLUB LEAGUE

JUNIORS

Junior members of all ages are encouraged to compete in County Leagues and the Fallows Cup.
